Introduction


For this task or this task (which is part of the assignment I have been asked to 'Design', 'Test' and make a 'Photography/Film a Video' of the robotic 'Buggy' that I have created.


The design stage is basically where I have been asked to make a 'plan' which could possibly consist of sketches, annotated screenshots of the 'Flow-code' designs. After I Design (the planning stage) I am now to 'Test' the product (buggy-robot) that I have developed. It is also the stage where my tutor is to come and observe as well as 'test' the 'Flow-code' that I have created.


Also, part of the assignment asks me to make a pictured or videoes "evidence" of the final product (which is the buggy in action - so the buggy runing and doing what I asked it to do at the planning stage). To round this assignment off, I have been asked to create a Flow-code diagram and actually hand them in. In this flowcode diagram(s), I am to describe all of the control operation (including the final one).


So what exactly is the 'Buggy' (robotic) itself, as well as the 'Flow-Code' software?


The buggy is basically a 'robotic' device which has commands and codes installed onto it by a user, in which after this code or command has been installed onto this 'Robotic device' it should be able to generate or reply back to this command/instruction or code given to it by actually performing/giving an output. This output given or performed, is the robotic device actually performing the instruction given by the user (in the flowcode diagram). In the simplest of terms, the buggy basically provides a platoform in which its used to compete or take part in robotic events. The diagram below shows an image of the robotic 'Buggy' that I have been talking about:



The flowcode side of the buggy is basically a flowcode in which acts and IS a graphical programmable language designed for microcontrollers, where in this case the 'Buggy' itself is a microcontroller. It enables the user to create electronic systems in a short period of time (very quick) which is an advantage in terms of using this software.
